Please see Michael Moore’s “Sicko”

If you haven’t seen this movie yet, I strongly urge you to do so.

I fully expected it to be brilliant, and I was not disappointed. I think it has been mis-characterized as a “comedy” though. If they did that to get more people to see it, fine, but like all of Moore’s work, there is a very serious side to this film. Many moments brought me to tears, and having seen it I am more outraged than ever at the blatant callousness and greed of the American “powers that be”.

  1. i agree, michael moore’s film was highly disturbing due to the fact of how real it was. it’s great to see people trying to do something to be part of the solution especially with a problem as big as healthcare reform in america. have you heard of AARP? they are trying to get congress to make Medicare available to the people who cannot afford it. you should check out their website at http://www.thisissoridiculous.com and sign their online petition and make your voice heard! you can also view videos, email congress and read up on the cause while you’re on there!
